The Stuff You'll Wish You Bought Before Moving to Europe For 4 Months List
1) Brita Water Bottle ($10)
This water bottle is excellent and lightweight for traveling. With it, you can save TONS of money on overpriced water bottles in touristy cities. The best part? There’s a filter inside that lasts for up to 2 months, ensuring clean water wherever you find yourself. Except Malta. Never drink the water from there, even if you have a super-cool water bottle like this one.
Sure, you can try to save some money like yours truly by haggling a street vendor down to 5 euro for a non-brand-name backpack, and then have the straps snap off within 3 days of buying it. OR you can avoid all of that mess and simply invest in a quality backpack that Northface makes. No matter the price, $40 or $250, every bag I’ve bought from them always delivers.
3) Driinn Mobile Phone Holder ($5 - $10)
Never underestimate how easy it is to lose or damage your phone while living in Europe or traveling from hostel to hostel. Use this nifty little tool to keep your phone directly next to the charger so you won’t burn bridges with your (possibly intoxicated) roommate who steps on the phone you left charging on the floor!

There are tons of things you’re going to wish you thought of buying before traveling all throughout Europe, and buying these gender-specific kits will do all the worrying and emergency-prevention for you. And yes, they even make kits for the infamous “Walk of Shame”. Not that you’ll be needing it, of course.

Wristbands that change color to reflect your level of exposure to the sun. This is for irresponsible folks like myself who never know when to reapply sunscreen or get out of the sun. Each package includes 7 disposable wristbands for kids and adults and is PERFECT for a weekend trip to the Amalfi Coast with Euroadventures ;)
If you're reading this stateside, there’s still time left for you guys to pick some (or ALL!) of this stuff up - and at each item available for as little as 5 but no more than 40 bucks (depending on what style you choose, of course) you won’t waste all of your Study Abroad funds either!
Hope this helps! Until the next trip,
