Firenze is a smaller city, so getting lost shouldn’t be a problem, though I still managed to make it happen. The famous Duomo stands tall in the center of the city, and was a great point of reference for me. You don’t know how massive and significant the Duomo is until seeing it in person. Stand against the building, look straight up, and take it all in.
If you’re a fan of art, cuisine, music and fashion, then Firenze is the place for you. I enjoyed the nightlife the most - wandering the streets amazed and fixated upon the beautiful and well-lit buildings of Firenze. I will never forget my last night in Firenze that started with an amazing pizza at the famous Gusta Pizza. I had heard many things, and was not disappointed; it was absolutely the best pizza I’ve ever consumed. I ordered the Calabrese pizza with spicy sausage and savored every bite. The night ended with a few drinks at a small pub I came across on the way home, talking with the locals about my experience in Firenze, one that created lifelong memories and unforgettable photos.
